How do I update the name on my profile?

To update your name in our systems, you must send an email to our Member Services team with one of the approved documents listed below:

  • Name update due to misspelling or nickname used during the initial purchase: Submit your ID.
  • Name updated due to marriage, divorce, or general name change: Submit your legal name change documentation. Note: This documentation will need to indicate your old name and your new name.
Important: If you are taking a proctored exam, your ID must match the name that you have on file.
Email Instructions
To ensure we update the name correctly in our systems, please list the original name on file and the name you are requesting it to be changed to. Don't forget to include any hyphenations or apostrophes.
Please include the required documentation as an attachment. You may send in a scanned PDF file, or a clear picture taken from a camera phone.
